We are quickly settling into our 2nd store over at Mandarin Gallery and slowly getting immune to the fresh paint smell (reminder to self: to get that burner+great smelling oils). Stocking up the goodies from here/there, decorating and redecorating, positioning and repositioning… a constant work in progress. But of course, never forgetting, never neglecting our ever-so-cozy home at Cathay which is still in operation!

Wonderful cards from Darling Clementine are absolutely charming! Not being able to wait anymore, we have decided to showcase a preview of the Marionette collection of 6 gorgeous prints! Inspired by 1950’s finger puppets, these pretty square cards are blank inside for doodles and words. Each comes with its own brown kraft (recycled) envelope.

and for those with a sense of humor… we have got just the thing for you.
from new york! new york! Saying it as it is, these Uncooked cards are effortlessly hilarious and endearing all at the same time. Things that you might actually have thought but didnt have the balls to say it, or thought it was inappropriate to say it coz it might make u look mean/bad/rude… its all here in store. and we LOVE it.

Renovations of Mandarin Gallery is still ongoing… its more/less, here there.
we’re on standby for moving in/clean up/setup. There’s no stopping this train.

Its been awhile hasn’t it?  SO much has been happening, I can barely even keep track of what happened yesterday. And as exciting as it is stressful, more is definitely about to come.

Just thought of bringing you a quick word. A plethora of new releases, hot off the press, has reached our shores. Expect them all in store (as well as the restocks) within these couple of days. Pictures will soon follow.  —> inside .woodwould..

Finally finalized! Yes yes, we’re gonna have a new one.
Smack in the center of Orchard Road this time.
Linked to Meritus Mandarin Hotel (they’ve relocated their hotel lobby  which now sits on the 5th level), the new Mandarin Gallery is a 4 level dedicated piece of shopping heaven! And YES, this is where our new one will be!

No more complaints about accessibility! (anyways, our current is just a street across the train station… and abit of walking is always good for you….) The Easiest navigation. Diagonally opposite Paragon, Beside Takashimaya, Opposite Heeren, Next to Orchard Cineleisure. This will be happening sometime around mid Sep/Oct this year… Details will most definitely be posted up here once we have the concrete dates. EXCITING TIMES!

For those who’s gotten used to visiting us over at The Cathay, dont fret.
